Rockwood Swendeman, is a world leader in the manufacture and assembly of safety relief valves for the industrial gas industry. For over 50 years we have been making bronze safety relief valves which fit the needs of our most valued customers. We at Rockwood Swendeman are proud of the products and service we provide to our customers. Our facility is ASME certified and we manufacture all of our valves to the specifications of Section VIII of the globally accepted ASME code.

Our safety relief valves also meet the following specifications:

Compressed Gas Association S-1.2 and S-1.3.

V-4301 (Cryogenic Non-Oxygen Gas)

V-4401 (Oxygen).

Test Reports and Certificates of Compliance are available upon request. We clean and package all of our valves for use in oxygen service in compliance with the Compressed Gas Association's specification G-4.1 In addition we do not charge any extra fees for this level of cleanliness.

Model RXSO-S	Model RSL	CryoTree	Model RXSO

Our most popular valve, the RXSO, is the valve purchased for cryogenic use. It has a Teflon seat and is specified by many of our industrial gas customers to their pressure vessel manufacturers.

Each valve is set, tested, retested and sealed at the factory to the customer's specifications.

Our safety relief valves have set pressures up to 400 psig (27.5 BAR) and are used with temperatures ranging from cryogenic to 300℉.

Rockwood Swendeman can provide you with reliable, high quality safety relief valves, at the most competitive price in the industry and our lead time on most orders is three weeks or less.

Rockwood Swendeman valves are guaranteed against defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year. Any valve claimed to be defective may be returned to us for examination. If we find the valve to be defective it will be repaired or replaced at no charge to you. Under no circumstances does Rockwood Swendeman assume responsibility for consequential damages, labor, repair or other expenses. Any adjustments or repairs needed to your valves can and should be done by Rockwood Swendeman at our facility. We have 50 plus years experience in the manufacture and assembly of safety relief valves for the industrial gas industry.
